Shanell Thomas, is a versatile individual who has worn many hats throughout her life. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, she now resides in the vibrant city of Charlotte, North Carolina. With a diverse background, Shanell has excelled in various roles, including bookkeeper, chemical dependency counseling assistant, hospitality/customer service and entrepreneur.

Shanell's journey began at Cincinnati Job Corps, where she obtained her GED and honed her business skills, earning a valuable certification. As a chemical dependency counseling assistant, she has dedicated herself to assisting and supporting those in need. Currently, Shanell is in the process of becoming certified through the esteemed American Association of Grant Writers, solidifying her expertise in grant writing.

Under the moniker Youngblood, Shanell embraces her role as a grant navigator. Through her business Youngblood & Weakley Grant Advisors, she aims to guide and empower individuals and organizations to navigate the complex world of funding opportunities. By leveraging her grant writing skills, Shanell envisions helping others chart a course to funding triumph, enabling them to make a positive impact in their respective fields.

When Shanell isn't immersed in her professional pursuits, she finds joy in pursuing her hobbies. Singing and writing are outlets for her creative expression, allowing her to channel her passion into meaningful projects. Additionally, she cherishes the simple pleasure of taking leisurely walks in nature, finding solace and inspiration amidst the beauty of the outdoors.
